Step 1 – Good Design:

Since most people don’t have an eye for design, many of the email campaign services offer design tools.

Step 2 – Good Product

Let’s mutually assume this isn’t an issue.

Step 3 – Good Copy

This is the hard part. Good copy isn’t simply a matter of saying: “Hey! You need my product! Here it is! Buy now!”

(Actually, that simple model is rather accurate. The hard part is turning that message into copy that isn’t pushy, offensive, obvious, abstract or simply boring.)
